Everyday Herbal Tea Blends

I am pleased to offer a range of carefully blended, prepackaged teas suitable for everyday enjoyment.

These teas have been crafted with flavour in mind, using the same high quality herbs I use in my medicinal practice. You will always find a seasonal specialty - eg a Winter Warmer - and several blends that contain herbs traditionally enjoyed at different times of day.

Loose leaf teas, blended using whole or minimally processed herbs, taste completely different from those often sold in tea bags, where grinding the herbs into small pieces necessary for a quick tea-bag brew results in a loss of quality and flavour. Because the pieces of herb used in my blends are larger, they benefit from a longer brewing time - around 5-15 minutes according to taste. The herbs - especially ones that contain whole flowers such as chamomile, hibiscus or calendula - look amazing brewing in a glass cafetiere or tea-pot - but any receptacle with a strainer will work. I will soon be offering self-fillable tea bags and reusable tea-balls, which are a convenient solution.

Above all, I encourage you to take the time to settle down, put your feet up, and really enjoy a break from your day.

All products carry a complete list of ingredients with allergen labelling. Up-to-date ingredients information is also detailed for currently available products on these webpages, but as ingredients may change from batch-to-batch please always check the label on your own product for details. If you are looking for medicinal teas, please see the notes below.

Medicinal vs Non-Medicinal Herb Use

While these blends are crafted for taste, as a herbalist I always have one eye on the functional aspect of my creations. However, per UK legislation, I am not allowed to make any medicinal claims for products sold directly to the public (i.e. without a one to one consultation), and these products are not intended to treat any condition. If you are looking for help with a particular health concern, please contact me directly to arrange an appointment. You are, of course, free to do your own research and draw your own conclusions as to the traditional uses of the herbs included in any product you purchase, here or otherwise.

Some food-type herbs, especially when consumed in larger quantities, may be unsuitable for people with certain health conditions or who are on some medications. The products sold here are intended to be used in normal food (i.e. herb / spice / tea) quantities, and are not intended to be used as medicines. In the event of adverse reaction, cease use, and consult a doctor. If you have any concerns, contact your herbalist or other health-care practitioner for advice.
