Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Wild Roots Herbal Medicine. These terms and conditions explain how I work, how appointments and herbal medicines are managed, and what you can expect when booking a consultation or ordering remedies. Please take a few moments to read through them.

Consultations

Consultations are available both in-person and online. When you book an appointment through the website, you will receive confirmation by email. Please arrive or log in promptly for your scheduled time.

For online consultations please ensure you are in a quiet, private place where you cannot be overheard.

All information shared during consultations is treated confidentially in accordance with my Privacy Notice and professional ethical standards.

Fees and Payments

Consultation fees are displayed on the booking page and are payable in advance at the time of booking through the online booking portal. Payments are processed securely by card.

Payments for herbal medicines can be made by card, bank transfer, or cash, and must be made on collection or in advance of posting.

Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

I understand that plans sometimes change.

• If you give 24 hours’ notice or more, I’ll happily reschedule your appointment at no extra charge. Please contact me as soon as possible, and I will cancel your original appointment and provide you with a discount code to use at checkout so you can rebook. My card payment provider requires a minimum transaction of £1 to place a booking. Please pay this at the time of rebooking and I will refund, or deduct the £1 from the cost of your medicines.

• If you prefer to cancel with 24 hours notice or more without rescheduling, a £5 admin charge will be deducted, and the remainder of your consultation fee will be refunded.

• If you cancel within 24 hours of your appointment, your consultation fee will be refunded minus a £15 late cancellation charge.

If you do not attend your appointment without prior notice, the full fee will be charged.

Herbal Medicines and Repeat Prescriptions

Herbal medicines are prescribed and dispensed directly by Wild Roots Herbal Medicine, tailored to your individual needs. Remedies are freshly prepared for you, and non-returnable once dispensed.

I can provide up to three repeat prescriptions between consultations. After this, a follow-up consultation is required to review your progress, and ensure your prescription remains safe and beneficial for you. A charge applies to all repeat prescriptions dispensed in the absence of a consultation; please see Prices.

Payment for medicines must be made on collection or in advance of postage.

Postage fees are charged at cost and depend on the weight of your package. Delivery is available within the UK only.

Client Responsibilities

To help ensure safe and effective care, please:

• Provide complete and accurate information about your medical history, current medications, and any allergies or sensitivities.

• Let me know promptly if your health changes, or if you start or stop any prescribed medication during your course of treatment.

• Follow dosage and usage instructions carefully, and contact me if you experience any adverse effects or have concerns about your remedies.

Communication

You’re welcome to contact me by email for brief questions or updates about your treatment. For new or complex concerns, a follow-up consultation may be required to provide appropriate advice.

I aim to respond to all messages within two working days.

Professional Conduct

I am a qualified medical herbalist and abide by the ethical and professional standards of my professional association. If I believe a different form of healthcare would be more appropriate for your needs, I may recommend referral to another practitioner or healthcare provider.

Updates to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions are reviewed regularly and may be updated to reflect changes in practice or regulations. The latest version will always be available on this website.
